Russia’s Putin says this about India Aweek after Praising PM Modi

“India will achieve outstanding results in terms of its development – there are no doubts – and almost one-and-a-half billion people: now that’s potential,”.

A week after lavishing praise on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Russian President Vladimir Putin lauded India by describing its people as “gifted” and “motivated.” According to Putin’s address, which was initially delivered in Russian on the occasion of Russia’s Unity Day on Friday, “India will achieve tremendous results in terms of its growth – there are no doubts – and over one and a half billion people: now that’s potential.”

Putin went on to forecast that India would make rapid advancements. No questions have been raised.
Nearly 1.5 billion people live on the planet. The Russian President said that had potential. Vladimir Putin commended Prime Minister Modi’s independent foreign policies and referred to him as a sincere nationalist on October 27.
At a plenary meeting of the Valdai International Discussion Club, Putin allegedly stated that Prime Minister Modi “is one of those individuals in the world who is able to pursue an independent foreign policy in the interest of his country, and his people, without any attempts to stop him.”

“It (India) attracts general respect from everyone in the world. A lot has been done in recent years under PM Modi’s leadership. He is a true patriot of his country. And this concept of his, ‘Make in India’, is a significant effort. (India) really has progressed in its development. A great future lies ahead of it,” he added.

The Russian President continued by mentioning the unique relationships his nation has developed with India over the course of many years of close ally relations. Putin emphasised that Russia and India have never had any unresolved differences and have consistently provided assistance to one another.

Modi pushed Putin to put a stop to the war in Ukraine at their September meeting outside of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization. Today’s moment, according to PM Modi, is not one of conflict, and Putin needs to get back on the path of negotiation.
