Buses, autos, cabs to start from May 19, says Karnataka CM B S Yediyurappa

Easing lockdown restrictions significantly, Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa announced Monday that public transport services outside COVID-19 containment zones will start operations from Tuesday.  “To facilitate easy movements of citizens, services of the BMTC, KSRTC, NEKRTC and NWKRTC will start from Tuesday morning, except in containment zones. Gujarat COVID-19 cases cross 10,000-mark; death toll 625

The number of COVID-19 cases in Gujarat crossed the 10,000-mark on Saturday, with 1,057 new patients being found positive for coronavirus including 709 "super spreaders" in Ahmedabad, which accounted for 14 of the total 19 deaths, a Health official said.
