Assam: Cong files FIR against AIUDF chief Badruddin Ajmal for making derogatory remarks

Guwahati: The Assam Pradesh Congress Comittee (APCC) on Wednesday filed an FIR against AIUDF chief Badruddin Ajmal for making derogatory statement against Congress party.

In the FIR, Assam Congress leader Monojit Mahanta claimed that Ajmal has recently made a derogatory statement in public saying that “Thakur ne hizron ka dal banaya” (God has made a team of eunuchs), a jibe that was aimed at the grand old party.

It may be mentioned that earlier Badruddin Ajmal made very disrespectful and indecent comments against the women community of Assam and chief Minister of Assam.

“We are enclosing herewith news clippings of Amar Asom, May 3rd issue where his statements have been published. Badruddin Ajmal, MP & President AUIDF has been continuously trying to malign the image of our language, culture etc. and also attempting to weaken the social fabric of Assamese society,” the FIR stated.

Last year, Ajmal sparked a row by saying that Muslim men get married soon after they attain the age of 21 according to the law, whole Hindus keep themselves unmarried till the age of 40 to have illegal relations with at least three women.
