Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Shree Tech Data Limited CEO Vijay Anand met Chief Minister Mohan Yadav and gave an investment proposal of Rs 9100 crore on Friday. He showed interest in making investment in Data Centre, Green Hydrogen, Solar Energy and Transmission Sector.
The investment proposal given by him includes establishing Data Centre at the cost of Rs 4k crore in Indore, development of Green Hydrogen Plant by investment of Rs 3k crore in Bina (Sagar) etc.
Apart from this, he gave a proposal to install solar power unit (at the cost of Rs 600 crore) in Ujjain and investment of Rs 1500 crore for Electricity Transmission and Distribution Structure at the cost of Rs 1500 crore in Ujjain.
CC Policy 2025 launched to attract investment
Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said that Madhya Pradesh Global Capability Centre (MPGCC) Policy 2025 has been launched which will attract multinational companies. It is a step to establish the state as digital and technical hub.
To present the policy at the world level, GIS will provide a big platform to it. This policy will be presented in an effective manner before investors and industrialists. He hoped that the state will get investment proposals in large number through GCC.
Notably, GCC are those centres which are established in other countries by multinational companies (other than their headquarters). The aim of them is to run the operation at the world level and to take benefit from modern techniques.
These data centres give services of Software Development, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Cloud Computing, Data Analysis, financial services, Research and Development (R&D), Supply Chain Management and customer services. State’s GCC Policy 2025 will play an important role in helping the country in achieve GCC market target of $110 billion by 2030.
Confluence point of entrepreneurs
GIS will become the confluence point of entrepreneurs coming from various parts of the country and abroad. Investor-friendly policies, particularly the recently-launched industrial policy has made the state as a center point of attraction among investors.
