ASI martyred, service rifle looted as terrorists attack CRPF patrol party in J&K’s Budgam

A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) patrol party was attacked by unknown terrorists in the Chadura area of Jammu and Kashmir’s Budgam district on Thursday in which an ASI rank officer was martyred. The martyred ASI has been identified as Nu Badole. He belonged to Nagpur in Maharashtra. He was attacked by the terrorists and his service rifle was also looted by them before they fled from the scene. Charu Sinha appointed IG CRPF in Srinagar, first female IPS officer to take charge in terrorist-hit sector

For the first time, a female IPS officer has been appointed as Inspector General (IG) of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) Srinagar sector, one of the terrorist-affected areas in Jammu and Kashmir. The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has arrested a suspicious person from Delhi's Vijay Chowk, sources said on Wednesday (August 26, 2020). According to reports, the man, who claims to be a resident of Budgam district of Jammu and Kashmir, was caught roaming around the Parliament House. He was nabbed by the CRPF personnel on duty over his suspicious activity. During his initial interrogation, the man gave misleading information to the CRPF men about himself. Terrorists attack CRPF patrolling party in Jammu and Kashmir’s Sopore, one jawan martyred

Terrorists attacked a CRPF patrolling party in Sopore area of Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday (July 1). The troops of G/179 CRPF along with Jammu and Kahsmir police while placing 'naka' were attacked by terrorists at 7:35 am which was retaliated promptly. According to reports, one CRPF personnel died while three got injured after the terrorists opened fire at the CRPF team.
