Indian Railways to start from May 12; Booking to start at 4pm today

Indian Railways plans to restart passenger trains in a phased manner starting May 12, the national transporter said in statement on Sunday evening, with ticket bookings to be opened from 4 pm on Monday. Tickets will only be available through the IRCTC website, with ticket counters (including those for platform tickets) at all stations to remain closed. 14 migrant workers crushed to death by goods train in Maha

At least 14 migrant workers sleeping on rail tracks were crushed to death by a goods train in Aurangabad district of Maharashtra on Friday morning, police said. Two other labourers were injured in the accident which took place at 5.15 am under the Karmad Police station jurisdiction, an official said.
