Assam: 10-days workshop on Sanskrit language concludes in Dibrugarh

Dibrugarh: A 10-days workshop on Sanskrit language was organised by RSS, Dibrugarh at BL Beria Saraswati Sishu Mandir was concluded on Saturday.

Altogether, 54 students were benefitted from the workshop. Jonti Borah took the Sanskrit class.

The workshop was inaugurated on July 6 by Dr Sreemanta Madhab Baruah, Jila Sangachalak.

Speaking at the programme, Dr Sreemanta Madhab Baruah spoke on the importance of Sanskrit language. “Sanskrit language is the ancient language of India which was earlier spoken by most of the people but the language was lost due to the penetration of many languages. Through this workshop the students would be benefited in coming days. Sanskrit is the mother of all languages and we should create awareness on the language among the youths,”.

Subhas Joshi, vibhag pracharak said, “Everyone should learn Sanskrit language because it was associated with our culture, tradition and religion. Sanskrit is an ancient language which was mostly spoken in ancient India. Our civilization was very old where we get the Sanskrit language which was mostly used for communication. Every parents should teaches Sanskrit to their children,”.
