India’s Kush Maini made history after being announced as the reserve driver for Alpine F1 team.Maini is the only Alpine F1 reserve driver actively competing in the Formula 2 Championship for Dams Lucas Oil.The 24-year-old Maini becomes third Indian driver after Narain Karthikeyan and Karun Chandok to be a part of a Formula 1Maini first joined the Alpine Academy in October 2023 and completed four tests with the Alpine F1 Team last season.
